GET INVOLVED

As a Funder

Support a mission built for systems change.

Our unique economic model maximizes philanthropic impact by driving toward a public health solution.

At TRAILS, we believe the youth mental health crisis demands a policy response. To truly confront what U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy calls “the defining public health issue of our time,” legislators and government officials must guarantee access to effective mental health services for all children and teens.

But driving legislative change is no small task. With support from some of the most influential social impact funders in the nation, TRAILS is bringing together leaders in education, public health, and policy to transform our nation’s approach to mental health at the systems level.

In each partner state, philanthropy is the catalyst that enables our team to establish pilot sites, connect and collaborate with existing services, and ultimately secure public funding for impact at scale.

A solution that leverages the existing education workforce

TRAILS builds the expertise of existing school staff, exponentially increasing their impact—for the rest of their careers—by providing the training and tools they need to be effective.

Continued student support at no additional cost

TRAILS doesn't charge a license or subscription fee. School partners maintain access to TRAILS materials in perpetuity, helping them sustain programming long-term.
