CBT and Mindfulness caregiver letters in 7 new languages, and other news
In 2025, we're making it easier for caregivers in our partner districts to be well-informed about TRAILS programming. We’re happy to announce that you can now access all CBT and Mindfulness caregiver letters in a total of 9 languages! Other updates include newly available virtual adaptations for those delivering groups virtually and revised TRAILS Supplemental Sessions on behavioral activation, cognitive coping, and exposure.
Newly translated caregiver letters
In addition to Spanish and English, all TRAILS caregiver letters are available in 7 languages: Amharic, Arabic, Dari, French, Nepali, Somali, and Vietnamese.
To find these translations, access a caregiver letter as usual. (If you’re not used to accessing caregiver letters, you can find them on our agenda pages. Here’s an example of an agenda page.) The available languages are available in the 'Select Language' drop-down menu. From there, you can download a Word document or copy the text directly into an email if you prefer.
Associated student resources available in 7 new languages
All student-facing resources linked in our caregiver letters are also provided in their corresponding languages. Find the full list below.
To quickly find these resources again without having to refer to this post, type your preferred language into the search bar on our website. Then browse the menu of available resources in that language.

Let us know how it’s going
Making our materials accessible in multiple languages is a large undertaking. Please report a problem if you come across any snags with our translated materials.
Lastly, if you have feedback on how we can improve at meeting your language needs, please contact our Culturally Responsible Programming team, at crp@trailstowellness.org.
Virtual adaptations available for each CBT and Mindfulness manual
You can now access virtual adaptations for our 10- and 7-session manuals! Find these virtual adaptations under “Additional resources” on the Manual Overview page of each CBT and Mindfulness manual. Here’s an example of our Manual Overview page for our 10-session manual for grades 9–12.
Revised Supplemental Sessions for grades 6–8 and 9–12
We’ve revised the TRAILS Supplemental Sessions on behavioral activation, exposure, and cognitive coping. These session agendas now include leader tips, developmental adaptations, and guidance on shortening the session. The corresponding slide decks and caregiver letters have also been updated to match.
